Senior Backend Engineer (Security & Infrastructure)

This is a cutting-edge patent analytics software designed to transform the way intellectual property is evaluated. By integrating high-quality patent datasets with scientifically validated metrics, it introduces a data-driven approach to patent valuation—challenging the traditional, subjective methods commonly used in the industry. The platform enables users to gain deeper insights into patent quality, technological relevance, and competitive positioning, providing a more objective foundation for strategic decision-making in innovation and IP management.

Talent you’ll bring into the team:

• 5+ years of backend development (C#, Java, or similar)
• 2+ years in Application Security
• Hands-on experience with Veracode SAST/SCA
• Solid understanding of OWASP Top 10, CWE, CVE, CVSS
• Experience analyzing dependency vulnerabilities (NuGet, npm, etc.)
• Experience integrating security checks into Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub Actions
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher for effective communication with a distributed team

Responsibilities:

• Fixing security issues in code and at the application layer
• Resolving findings from security scanners (e.g., Veracode)
• Improving security of CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and infrastructure
• Directing and prioritizing dependency and SDK updates across projects and languages, executed by the respective project teams
